If you are twelve or more guests in your party, we kindly ask you to order your food in advance, as this will give our chef time to make sure that your food is absolutely perfect. Should there be guests in your party who would rather not eat raw fish, or who prefer plant-based diets, we welcome all requests for vegetarian meals.

Our first adventure outside London came when we opened our Sticks’n’Sushi Cambridge restaurant, found a short walk from the University of Cambridge and situated opposite the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Wheeler Street, we could not have asked for a better location.

GRANDIOSE MONUMENTALITY AND HARMONIC PROPORTIONS

In the centre of Cambridge’s lively restaurant district is the Guildhall. The building was erected in 1861, and through the course of its history, the blackened yellow brick has housed criminals, nuns, indoor markets, books, reading rooms, and art students.

The Guildhall is built in the Palladian style of architecture and is therefore characterised by grandiose monumentality and clear, harmonic proportions. When the building was first opened, it heralded the dawn of a new age for the city of Cambridge—this was a building they could be proud of. No better place to open a Sticks’n’Sushi restaurant.

Prepare to be welcomed by a warm atmosphere. The restaurant is equipped with dark flooring and soft paper lamps, and in the middle of it all is an open kitchen with a view of the chef. The building is listed and it is possible to walk up the original iron staircase and along the walkways that were put in to help the librarians put the books back on their shelves.
