WE USE RECYCLED PLASTIC

At Sticks’n’Sushi, we are constantly working on becoming more sustainable. ⁠The plastic boxes we serve our takeaway in are made of 100% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.

All you need to do is rinse it and sort the boxes in plastic waste containers. So please help us with that!

The chopsticks are made of FSC certificated bamboo. This means that the materials used are sourced from responsibly managed forests. In that way we help to ensure our forests are alive for generations to come.

We have recently changed the composition of our wet tissues. We have changed the fractions used to make it easier to recycle. You can now sort both cover and tissue as soft plastic. That is both easier but also better for the environment.

Although we are using 100% recycled plastic boxes and FSC bamboo, we eagerly explore non-plastic alternatives. Therefore, we are testing different products and participate in projects to find just the right materials and products to fit our needs. We will keep you updated on this journey!
