Try our fusion of Japanese and Danish
We are a fusion of a Japanese traditionalist and a Danish anarchist, with locally grown vegetables and fresh catches from the surrounding waters. And while we may never fully honour or uphold the old Japanese sushi tradition, we are occasionally visited by the ambassador – which we take as a sign of forgiveness. We will continue to serve delicious and high quality sushi in Copenhagen and beyond, satisfying both the eyes and the taste buds.

A bit about Our History

In 1994, we opened our first sushi restaurant in Copenhagen. This was the beginning of a journey that, two years later, led us to expand our concept by opening our first restaurant with sushi takeaway in Copenhagen. A lot has happened since that first opening day. We've grown, and today we are a family of approximately 1,400 dedicated employees across our restaurants in Copenhagen and surrounding areas, as well as in England and Berlin.

The three family members opened their first Asian restaurant in a cosy basement on Nansensgade, where they served a menu of sushi, grilled yakitori sticks, and both hot and cold dishes. Today, the menu still reflects this balance and diversity – offering something for everyone, young or old, fish lover or not. From appetizing starters to mouth watering desserts and with flavourful cocktails, Japanese beers, and sake, refreshing juices, and a carefully selected range of red and white wines.

We are proud of our history and delighted that our sushi concept has helped shape the Danish food scene. We will continuously strive to be the best and to offer our guests an unforgettable experience each time they visit our restaurants.
